1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Runbook website ("the Site") and the services provided by Runbook, which includes viewing and purchasing photographs from amateur athletics events. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
2. General Use of the Site
Browsing and Purchasing: You may browse the Site to view photographs from events, and you have the option to purchase individual high-resolution photographs for GBP 5 or collections in a .zip file for GBP 25.
Digital Goods: All products on the Site are digital downloads, and fulfillment occurs via a download link provided after purchase. No physical goods are offered.
3. Copyright and Licensing
Ownership: All photographs on the Site are the copyright property of the photographers. You acknowledge and agree that the copyright in the photographs remains with the photographers.
Creative Commons License: Photographs available on the Site are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License. This means you are free to share and reuse the images, provided proper credit is given to the photographer.
Use of Purchased Photographs: Upon purchasing a photograph, you may use the image for any lawful purpose without restriction, subject to the original photographer's copyright.
4. Personal Information and Data Privacy
No Cookies or Personal Data Collection: Runbook does not set cookies, track personal data, or store any personal information. We do not collect or retain data used to categorise the photographs. No information is shared with third parties.
5. Event Participation and Image Removal Requests
Event Terms: Participants in events agree to be photographed under the terms arranged with the event organiser. Runbook assumes no liability for any issues related to participant consent, which is handled by the event organiser. Image Removal: Participants may request the removal of any photograph in which they appear. To make a request, please provide a link to the specific photograph, and the administrator will take reasonable steps to delete the image from the Site.
6. Refund Policy
No Refunds: All sales of digital photographs are final. Due to the nature of digital goods, refunds cannot be provided once the purchase is completed. Customers should carefully review their selections before finalising the purchase.
7. Promotional Use of Photographs
Runbookâs Right to Use Photographs: By using the Site, you grant Runbook the right to use photographs and galleries as displayed on the Site for promotional and demonstrative purposes, including marketing materials, website examples and case studies.
8. Limitation of Liability
Digital Media: Runbook provides digital media on an "as-is" basis, and we make no warranties or representations regarding the quality, suitability, or availability of the images beyond what is explicitly stated.
No Liability for Third-Party Actions: Runbook is not responsible for any issues related to the organisation of the events or any third-party platforms that interact with the Site.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising from the use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to the Terms
Runbook reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on the Site, and it is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly. Continued use of the Site following changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
